Austin Murtagh is an Associate Director at Stern IR, based in New York City. Austin joined Stern IR in early 2021 as a Senior Analyst and has worked with a range of public and private biopharmaceutical companies, across a spectrum of market caps and stages of development. He has gained experience advising across a range of IR-related matters, including company financings and public listings (e.g., series rounds, PIPEs, follow on public offerings, partnership deals, royalty financings, debt offerings, IPOs and de-SPACs), clinical data and regulatory disclosure strategy, institutional investor targeting, and crafting company narratives to help clients achieve a fair market value.
Before joining Stern IR, Austin was a Senior Associate in KPMG’s Economic & Valuation Services group, where he consulted with multinational companies across a variety of sectors on transfer pricing and related party transaction strategies.
Austin graduated from Lafayette College, where he studied Economics and Government/Law. Outside of work, Austin loves to keep up to date with capital market trends and global current events. He is an avid health and fitness enthusiast, a horology nerd and loves hanging out with friends, exploring New York City and its beautiful parks, and spending quality time with family and his Shih Tzu pup, Bean.
